What to expect as a Soulful Radio Network Intern?
The Soulful Radio Network Internship Program is designed to provide you with the opportunity to observe, work and gain experience within the inner-workings of Internet Radio Broadcasting. Carefully selected participants will gain an in-depth knowledge of the responsibilities and duties involved in the successful operation of a 24/7 Internet Radio Broadcasting Network by performing actual relative company tasks. Through observation, enthusiasm, creative input, participation and evaluation the Soulful Radio Network intern will develop a hands-on understanding of a wide variety of responsibilities such as personal assistant, promotion, marketing & publicity, music director, webmaster, DJ, "On Air" personality, and general office help among other things.

Internship Areas
Promotion/Marketing/Publicity Internship
Keeps the Networks name in the public through web press releases, print ads, web post, blogs and mass Internet exposure.
While the priority is being outgoing and personable, responsibilities will also include creating and implementing publicity for each station individually.
The Promotion/Marketing/Publicity department's primary goal is to establish closer contact with and to become aware of Industry publications, Industry Trade Magazines, Industry Websites/Webmasters and events related to genre specific-promotional programs. This may involve direct mail, e-mail, visiting, calling commercial, non commercial Internet websites. Promotional incentives may include Internet advertisements, Web sites, Artists new releases and giveaways. This is to create incentives to increase awareness.
*Must be at least 17 years of age.
Program Director Internship
The department's primary goal is to learn what's Hot on the street in the different genres as well as the Artists. This will ensure to maintain variety along with
unique, new and fresh material. This person also helps to develop, broaden the range of Artists and songs to be placed in rotation.
*Must be at least 17 years of age.
Personal Assistant Internship
This persons primary responsibility is to establish and maintain a close and comprehensive work environment with the senior management of the Soulful Radio Network. Understanding how each department should work in harmony is important to facilitate company growth. This person assists in the developement of strategic company plans and goals, studies and creates market and promotional campaigns.
*Must be at least 17 years of age.
Webmaster/Graphic Artists Internship
Assits with the designs of Internet sites/Logos that accurately reflect the Soulful Radio Networks goals, objectives and music. Provides strategic direction and concept development for online projects, including web graphics and banner ads from concept to implementation using designer software. Electronically designs and produces printed materials in preparation for press releases of publications, including articles, newsletters, brochures, creating and confirming artwork, banners, ads, graphics, illustrations and marketing plans designed to increase public awareness.
*Must be at least 17 years of age.
DJ Internship
Responsible for recording and submitting station ID's, securing Artists liners, jingles, promos and specialty show material.
*Must be at least 17 years of age.
"On Air" Personality Internship
Responsible for writing and creating voice "drop-ins" to be recorded for netowork broadcast. Assisting with the artistic and commercial development of the Soulful Radio Network while staying current with today's Music and Artists.
*Must be at least 17 years of age.
General Office Internship
Responsible for a multitude of daily office tasks including but not limited to e-mails, answering phones, faxing, mailings, and other miscellaneous responsibilities. Entry-level position. Prior experience is not required. However, candidate must be energetic, hard working and willing to learn.
